Covid-19 Booster vaccine eligibility

Everyone aged 16years and over are now eligible for a Booster vaccine 12 weeks following your 2nd dose.   For more information on how to book please follow the link  Book or manage a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination – NHS (www.nhs.uk)  Alternatively you can Walk-in at anyone of our sites (for this area nearest locations, White Wings centre Askern or Petersgate Medical Centre, Scawthorpe).  Please check opening times prior to attending.

Children aged 12 to 15 can get a booster dose 8 weeks after their 2nd dose if they have a condition that puts them at high risk from COVID-19 or they live with someone who has a weakened immune system.  Your GP surgery will contact you if you fall into this cohort.  If you’re not sure if you or your child are at high risk, see who is at high risk from COVID-19.

Those children not in an at risk group are eligible for 2 doses only, minimum 12 weeks apart.
